Sobamae
"Sobamae" originally meant drinking Japanese Sake before dining at a Soba restaurant. It has now come to mean enjoying Japanese Sake with small dishes made from unique ingredients specially available at Soba restaurants. It can also mean the special appetizers for a course meal, before having soba noodles as a main dish.
